Football in the 70s and 80s was created by Stuart Furniss who had previously owned the award-winning The 4th Official website. Along with Matthew Selby, they began a Facebook page which now contains over 22,000 members. Making it the most popular group on Facebook for providing daily quality content on football in the 70s and 80s. The natural progression was the creation of a website where people can write articles on football’s golden era – the 1970s and 1980s.
